Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive public sector sales strategy to expand CloudBees’ footprint within Federal, Civilian, and DOD/IC markets.
  • Revenue Growth: Own and drive the public sector revenue target, ensuring consistent growth and market penetration.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, including Civilian, and DOD/IC  Account Executives, and Solution Engineers.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, systems integrators, and technology partners to drive adoption of CloudBees solutions.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Work cross-functionally with marketing, alliances, and product teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Contracting & Procurement: Navigate government procurement processes, ensuring CloudBees is well-positioned on key contract vehicles to facilitate ease of purchase.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes, and competitor activities to proactively position CloudBees as a leader in the market.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on the public sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling DevSecOps, CI/CD,  to Federal agencies, DOD, or intelligence customers.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing sales teams in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Established relationships within DOD, IC, and key Federal Civilian agencies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with or through federal systems integrators.
  • Understanding of Continuous ATO, compliance frameworks, and security requirements in the public sector.
  • Knowledge of CloudBees solutions, DevOps methodologies, and software delivery best practices.
