As a remote backend engineer, you'll play a crucial role in powering our websites and mobile apps, bringing these reviews and insights to millions of users.

Our agile team creates an amazing experience for millions of users. One of the key areas you'll work on is enhancing the experience for our users seeking to hire professionals for home projects, such as contractors, plumbers, and electricians. You'll help guide users through the hiring process using our "Project Workspace," where they can manage their projects, compare businesses, and communicate with professionals.. You’ll leverage interactions to keep users engaged via email, SMS, and push notifications. You'll also encourage users to update their hiring decisions and project statuses. As an engineer on this team, you'll collaborate closely with Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

This opportunity is fully remote and does not require you to be located in any particular area in Mexico. We welcome applicants from throughout Mexico. • Build new features on top of our Service Oriented Architecture.
• Able to iterate quickly using Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment principles.
• Articulate a technical vision and execute it.
• Give back by mentoring other engineers and sharing the skills you learn.
• Collaborate with team members and engineers across the company to design elegant systems.

• Ideally 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Great understanding of and interest in elegant API designs.
• Relevant experience in at least one server-side programming language.
• You’re excited about the challenges of scalability, reliability, and performance.
