The Retail Media Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of retail media campaigns across in-store environments.

This hands-on position requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including printers, merchandisers, other external vendors and our retail brand marketing and operations teams.

You will ensure that in-store paid media activities ( inc. point-of-sale campaigns, in-store sampling, and larger in-store activations ) are implemented smoothly. 


Working closely with the Retail Media Operations Manager, the Coordinator will assist in the administrative aspects of campaign setup, track critical path milestones, and ensure all deliverables are on time and within budget.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Assist in the setup and execution of point-of-sale campaigns, in-store sampling, and larger in-store activations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, printers, merchandisers, and other external partners to ensure that all campaign assets and materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Oversee the execution of paid activations  in store, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and branding guidelines.
  • From time to time support Performance Media Specialists across social media workflow. 
  • Act as the day-to-day contact between internal teams and vendor partners (e.g., printers, display providers, and merchandisers).
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient execution of campaigns.
  • Critical Path Management:
  • Maintain and update the critical path to track all campaign milestones and deadlines, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential delays or issues that may affect the campaign delivery timeline. Escalate where necessary. 
  • Provide administrative support on the campaign setup process, booking \ order documentation and tracking. 
  • Develop communication pieces to inform stakeholders of upcoming activities (incl. but not limited to stores teams).
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve any operational challenges that may arise during campaign execution.
  • Assist the Retail Media Operations Manager in identifying opportunities for improvement, ensuring learnings are captured for future campaigns. and contribute to optimising the efficiency of the retail media operations function.
     

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing a critical path and ensuring milestone deadlines are met.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and retail partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate campaign needs and updates clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Experience as a retail marketing assistant, or in a campaign coordination role.
  • Relationship builder: You excel at building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong interest in retail, media operations, and consumer behavior is desirable.
  • Industry knowledge: You are passionate about the diverse brands within the liquor industry.
  • High level of attention to detail in reviewing and executing campaign materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)or their Google Suite equivalents.  
  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations and delivery excellence.
