Job Summary
The Capital Markets and Investments Manager will report to the Treasurer and provide support for pension and 401K plans administration, share repurchase, dividends, debt-related activities, rating agencies relationship, short-term investments and long-term financing strategy. This position will also support Global Cash Management activities, including online payment approval, bank account user administration, and long-term cash forecasting.
This position requires working onsite in Atlanta, GA, 2-3 days per week in a hybrid environment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Capital Structure and Financing (40% – 50%)
- Support global capital raising efforts including commercial paper, syndicated credit facilities, long-term bonds and related SEC shelf registrations
- Monitor cash balance to ensure availability of adequate short- and long-term liquidity to meet financial and business obligations, as well as corporate capital deployment priorities
- Complete debt covenants analysis and prepare certifications
- Support share repurchases, dividends, stock split, and other capital deployment recommendations analysis
- Analyze historical and future shareholders returns to support capital deployment strategies
- Support M&A due diligence, funding, and closing fund flow activities
- Support presentations and projections required for rating agencies annual meetings
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with banks, rating agencies, investment advisors and fund managers
- Supervise Sr. Treasury Analyst debt roll-forward analysis, credit facility fees and interest payments activities
Benefit Finance and Investment (20% – 30%)
- Prepare pension plans and 401K performance reports for quarterly Investment committee meetings
- Review pension asset rebalancing recommendations from advisors and send asset adjustment instructions to custodian and asset managers
- Review 401K and pension plans’ asset managers and consultant fees and process for timely payments
- Prepare annual actuarial assumptions memo supporting recommended expected return on pension plan assets
- Oversee short-term investment and borrowing activities of Sr. Treasury Analyst to achieve appropriate risk and return and alignment with corporate policies
Other Treasury Activities (20% - 30%)
- Manage and coordinate global free cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Revamp corporate lease vs buy analysis model and streamline policy for effectiveness and adherence
- Execute spot FX trade on Bloomberg or other FX trading platforms for high-value transactions
- Manage intercompany loan transactions, including interest rate recommendations
- Serve as backup administrator on multiple global banks’ electronic banking platforms, including user administration, and approving one-off transactions as needed
- Support other Treasury projects, including M&A integration and global cash pooling
Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- 2-3 years of experience
- MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Strategy
- Prior experience in corporate finance, treasury, financial markets, or consulting role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complicated financial operations and processes to deliver consistently high-quality results
- Ability to balance multiple projects and respond quickly to high-priority issues
- Strong analytical skills with formal academic training in corporate finance and solid financial modeling experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Located in Metro Atlanta Area

The range for this position is $80,400.00 to $144,700.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
