Job description

We are looking for an experienced Game Math Team Lead to drive the development of innovative and engaging slot games. In this role, you will lead a team of mathematicians, overseeing the creation of game logic, payout structures, and RTP calculations. You’ll collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure well-balanced, immersive gameplay that meets market trends and player expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and mentor a team of mathematicians, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Manage the hiring process for the math team, ensuring strong talent acquisition.
  • Create and maintain essential corporate documentation, including PAR sheets.
  • Work closely with Game Producers to fine-tune game balance and enhance the player experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to contribute innovative ideas to game designs.
  • Collaborate with game client and server developers, as well as QA teams, to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Oversee project assignments within the team, aligning tasks with team members’ expertise and preferences.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in slot game mathematics and/or game design, with expertise in game balancing and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong grasp of probability theory, combinatorics, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for simulations and validation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and foster teamwork.
  • Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A portfolio showcasing well-balanced slot games.
