Senior QA Automation Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our professional and hard-working team. His/Her role includes reviewing system requirements, designing and implementing tests, reporting issues, defining corrective actions, and tracking quality assurance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide meaningful feedback
  
• Web and Mobile app testing expertise.
  
• Creating and reviewing test scenarios, and test cases.
  
• Experience in writing, developing, and performing automation testing.
  
• Familiar with the Scrum Agile methodology
  
• Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured and maintainable test plans and test cases
  
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  
•  Identify opportunities for automation within software processes
  
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts
  
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs
  
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  
• Help investigate customer problems as needed
  
• Track quality assurance metrics
  
• Communicate and share information with local and remote teams
  

Requirements

Computer science, computer engineering or software engineering degree from a reputable university with proven records

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium)
  
• Hands-on experience with Mobile Apps testing tools (Appium)
  
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
