Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Strategic Growth:
Drive and exceed budgeted Net Sales, Trade Spend, and Contribution Margin goals within strategically significant customer accounts in Turkey.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with customers to foster joint value creation and achieve mutual KPIs.
Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that align with strategic priorities and deliver sustainable growth.
Create and manage balanced commercial plans to assess risks, identify opportunities, and implement contingency measures to exceed commercial goals.
Lead the creation and execution of customer-specific brand activation plans, collaborating closely with other internal functions to ensure strong in-store fundamentals and brand presence.
Operational Excellence:
Manage all aspects of account operations, including omnichannel strategy execution across physical stores, e-commerce and trade marketing.
Oversee accurate forecasting and ensure all systems are updated, maintaining high forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
Work closely with the Product Supply team to ensure smooth order, shipping, and delivery processes.
Conduct regular updates and presentations on account performance, market trends, customer plans, and competitive landscape.
Business Development:
Identify and capitalize on incremental growth opportunities in existing and emerging verticals to expand the customer base.
Develop innovative business strategies and execute them collaboratively with customers, analyzing results for continuous improvement.
Strengthen customer relationships by fostering a best-in-class commercial partnership that maximizes influence and business opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams (Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver comprehensive growth and activation strategies.
Contribute to multifunctional project-based initiatives to support the broader Turkey team.
5-7 years of experience in FMCG retailer account management within Turkey is a must (Distributor and top local account management experience is preferred)
Proven expertise in customer management and execution, category management, and e-commerce account handling.
Demonstrable track record of building brands and driving market share growth.
Strong financial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Skills & Attributes
Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with the ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is a must.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and resilient mindset with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Growth-oriented, adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
Active driver’s license (Class B).
Working Relationships
Internal: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
External: Engages with key retailer functions to drive strategic partnerships.
