Email Marketing Specialist
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their skills in marketing automation, email design, and direct mail campaign management. You’ll work closely with the Senior Email Marketing Specialist to execute campaigns across both channels, analyze performance, and support our broader marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and creating email templates using provided assets and tools.
Write compelling subject lines, pre-header text, and email content to engage target audiences.
Build and maintain audience segments to ensure personalized and relevant messaging.
Support the setup and execution of A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, and creative elements.
Coordinate direct mail campaigns in conjunction with email drip campaigns, from concept development to delivery.
Assist in creating content and ensuring consistent branding across direct mail materials.
Align direct mail efforts with broader marketing strategies to maximize impact.
Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to inform email and direct mail strategies.
Contribute to weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting on email and direct mail performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in email marketing. A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. (direct mail experience is a bonus).
Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g. Cordial, Mailchimp, HubSpot)
Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content.
Familiarity with email compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and basic direct mail logistics.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
A team-oriented, proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the role.
