Role

Our client is seeking an experienced IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Administrator with strong expertise in managing and configuring IIB on z/OS (Mainframe) systems. The role involves installation, configuration, and maintenance of IIB environments, troubleshooting, and working collaboratively with development teams to ensure seamless integration processes.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining IBM Integration Bus (IIB) on z/OS.
• Experience with SMP/E environment configuration, SMPE commands, and rollout of versions/fixpack levels.
• Skilled in creating and managing zFS filesystems and TCP/IP configurations.
• Expertise in RACF/security rule management and user access control for IIB.
• Strong knowledge of MQ definitions and configuration (MQ Admin experience).
• Experience with OPC batch jobs for maintenance (e.g., SMF accounting, backups, cleanups).
• Management of IIB configurable services (JDBC Providers, FTPServers, SMTP, Security Profiles, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with ODBC configurations for DB2 and certificate management.
