Job description

Senior Sales Associate – Georgia (K-12 School Districts)

Must be located in Georgia

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Associate with a proven track record of hunting, opening doors, and closing deals in the K-12 education sector. This role is laser-focused on new business acquisition, building relationships with Georgia school districts, and driving revenue growth through strategic outreach and consultative sales.

The ideal candidate is an aggressive self-starter with deep knowledge of the Georgia K-12 education landscape, a strong network of district decision-makers, and the ability to create opportunities where none exist. If you thrive on high-volume prospecting, cold outreach, and turning leads into long-term partnerships, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure partnerships with K-12 school districts across Georgia.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Develop a high-volume outbound strategy using cold calls, emails, in-person visits, and networking events to open doors with district decision-makers.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Understand district challenges and present tailored virtual teaching and tutoring solutions to meet their needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress in CRM and moving opportunities through the sales funnel efficiently.
  • District Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with superintendents, administrators, and curriculum leaders to establish credibility and position PLI as a trusted partner.
  • Closing Deals: Drive negotiations and execute contracts, ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new district clients.
  • Market Expansion: Stay ahead of education policy, funding trends, and procurement processes to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize outreach strategies and support Georgia market expansion.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in K-12 education sales, business development, or school district partnerships.
  • Proven success in new account acquisition, with a strong history of winning new district contracts.
  • Deep understanding of Georgia school funding, decision-making structures, and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional cold outreach & prospecting skills – comfortable making high-volume calls, setting meetings, and networking.
  • Hunter mentality – thrives in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment with a focus on closing new business.
  • Excellent negotiation & presentation skills, with experience pitching to school district leaders.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to track pipeline and performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel across Georgia to meet with district leaders and attend key industry events.

Why Join Us?

Uncapped earning potential with a competitive base salary + commission structure.
High-growth company solving the biggest challenge in K-12 education – teacher shortages.
