Overview
We are seeking a dynamic
Assistant Buyer
to drive growth across Marni North America. This role combines analytical expertise with merchandising acumen to elevate our full-price business, helping shape assortment strategy and manage product lifecycles while achieving division financial targets.
Role & Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive weekly sales analysis and performance tracking
Identify market trends and growth opportunities
Manage assortment planning tools
Drive data-driven decisions for business optimization
Support full-cycle buying process from concept to execution
Maintain detailed assortment documentation
Process markdown strategies and reorder recommendations
Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams
Partner with Retail teams on store-specific strategies
Support Global Merchandising initiatives
Participate actively during market campaigns
Process and track shipments/orders following up on deliveries to stores
Support development of buying strategies
Assist with line planning and assortment building
Required Qualifications
Prefer 2+ years in Retail Buying or Merchandising
Bachelor's Degree
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong analytical capabilities
Hybrid role - NYC office presence 3 days weekly

Salary Range: $65-$70k
