Our goal is to empower local government employees with the tools, technology, and support they need so they can deliver exceptional service to their taxpayers and feel proud of the work they do for their communities. We contribute by building software to streamline local government tax assessors’ workflows using machine learning. Specifically, we streamline the change of ownership process for real estate and create more seamless ways for tax offices to communicate digitally with their taxpayers.

About Just Appraised
Our product is a must have. Many local government processes relating to real estate and property taxes rely on manual data entry, leading to delays, backlogs, and errors. Our software uses AI to automate these tasks, increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and reducing backlogs.
This is a great role to take on during uncertain economic times: Our customers are less affected by changes in the economy than many other software buyers.
About The Role
This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity to join a YC-backed startup founded by Stanford grads. We’re looking for a teammate who has amazing communication skills, a passion for sales, a desire to solve customer problems, and is comfortable cold calling.
What You'll Do
Engage in outbound prospecting into local governments, primarily through cold calls
Uncover prospect problems on discovery calls
Show how we solve their problems with customized software demos
Demonstrate our impact and win the business with persuasive proposals
Coordinate among multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive deals to a successful conclusion
Drive traffic to various events including conferences, trade shows, and webinars
Meet or exceed established sales goals and activity metrics
Use a CRM to track and update sales funnel
Contribute to and execute on sales strategy for the company
Qualifications
Are adaptable, professional, motivated with a strong work ethic
Like talking to people but know how to listen
Can manage time efficiently, collaborate easily with other team members, and focus on clear goals
Are willing to travel up to twice a month
3+ years of on quota SaaS sales experience in a new business, deal closing role, ideally in the public sector
Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter that can work independently, as well as in a small team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
