Payment Sales Consultant

Company – Constellation Payments

Job Responsibilities:

The Payment Sales Consultant is expected to exceed monthly and annual sales goals by aggressively pursuing growth opportunities and driving revenue within Constellation Software Inc. This role requires a results-driven individual with the ability to identify and close opportunities effectively. Core responsibilities include:

  • Driving growth of Constellation Payments services to increase market share and maximize profitability within Constellation Software’s six operating groups.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the assigned customer base.
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to exceed customer expectations and meet revenue targets.
  • Promoting and marketing the Constellation Payments brand aggressively within the assigned territory.
  • Producing and maintain accurate sales reports, tracking pipeline opportunities, and regularly reporting to management.
  • Developing a deep understanding of client needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings to provide payment processing solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.

Job Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate a track record of success in merchant services and possess the skills needed to achieve aggressive sales goals while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Key qualifications include:

  • A university degree or equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
  • 3-5 years of proven success in merchant services or outside sales roles.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and a revenue-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in conducting merchant statement analysis and effectively presenting solutions.
  • Experience with consultative sales approaches in the payment processing or related industry.
