We’re on the lookout for an HR Onboarding and Training Specialist to join our expanding team and drive our company’s growth!


The Challenge

As the company grows rapidly, you’ll be responsible for managing and continuously improving the onboarding and training processes to ensure new hires have a seamless transition. From conducting offer discussions to developing structured training programs, you’ll play a key role in setting up employees for success while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

Day in the Life of an HR Onboarding and Training Specialist at GT Ecom

    • Manage and oversee the entire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
    • Conduct offer and pre-onboarding discussions, prepare offer letters and handle onboarding documents.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns.
    • Conduct engaging orientations and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure proper training and resources.
    • Create structured training deliverables, leading live and virtual training sessions, workshops, and refresher courses.
    • Develop structured training materials for both HR and department-wide initiatives, including presentations, handbooks, e-learning modules, and video tutorials.
    • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure all onboarding elements are completed on time.
    • Monitor onboarding effectiveness, gather feedback, and refine processes for a better new hire experience.

  • Deliver a structured HR onboarding orientation that ensures new hires have a clear understanding of company policies, culture, and expectations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer service training onboarding plan to equip new hires with the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.

Your Team When You Join Us

As an HR Onboarding and Training Specialist, you will be a key member of our Recruitment Team, partnering with hiring managers, HR, and IT to create a seamless and engaging onboarding experience. You’ll be part of a dedicated HR team of seven members, working hand-in-hand with our experienced HR Manager. Together, you’ll ensure new hires feel supported from day one and receive the necessary training and resources to succeed. We would love to hear from you if…

  • You have at least 2+ years of experience in onboarding, training, or HR-related roles.
  • HR Training and Development experience is a must.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding and training tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and company compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing training materials and leading training sessions.

Overview of Our Interview Process

  2. HR Initial Interview - Our Recruiter will reach out to you to discuss the next steps and to know more about your skills and experience.
  3. Final Interview
    1. Meet with the HR Manager or our CEO.
    2. If the Hiring Manager is not our CEO, you may have another call with our CEO.
  4. Offer Discussion - If all goes well, we'll discuss the offer and invite you to our pre-onboarding process.
  5. Pre-Onboarding Process
    1. Background Check: Verification of your identification and declared address.
    2. Reference Check: We’ll contact your three references for their feedback.
  6. Onboarding: Once all checks are completed, we’ll initiate the onboarding process.
