Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quoting Specialist to join our dynamic IT reseller team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate, competitive, and timely price quotes for IT hardware, software, and services, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to revenue growth. You will collaborate with sales, procurement, and vendor teams to optimize the customers buying experience and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Quoting and Pricing:

  • Generate detailed and competitive price quotes for customers based on their IT requirements.
  • Ensure all quotes comply with vendor agreements, pricing guidelines, and company policies.
  • Analyze customer needs to propose cost-effective solutions tailored to their business objectives.
  • Provide timely updates and revisions to quotes based on customer feedback or changing requirement

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

  • Work with vendors and distributors to obtain the best pricing and promotional offers.
  • Monitor and leverage vendor incentive programs, rebates, and discounts.

Sales Support:

  • Provide customer with status updates on shipping status and tracking details.
  • Process and manage RMAs, warranty claims, and other order related issues.  
  • Collaborate with sales teams to clarify customer requirements and ensure accurate quoting

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Keep accurate records of all quotes and customer interactions in the company CRM.
  • Assist with dispatching of quote requests and maintenance of service boards.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement improvements in the quoting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manfacturer distribution experience (Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, etc)Understanding of IT products, services, and solutions (e.g., hardware, software, licensing, and cloud services).
  • Proficiency with quoting tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
