What you can expect:
As a Sales & Client Care Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives and enhancing client satisfaction. You will lead and support the sales and client care teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery, timely responses to potential clients, and data-driven decision-making. Your leadership will directly contribute to improving client retention, strengthening relationships, and achieving organizational sales goals.
Working with us is never routine so the first year you can expect the following areas to be central to your work.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to each region, aligning with Preferred by Nature’s services and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and train sales staff to effectively engage potential clients, identify needs, and create high-quality proposals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, ensuring timely responses, data integrity, and continuous improvement in sales success rates.
- Oversee client care management, including developing key account management systems and implementing recognition and retention programs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with service capacity, market trends, and business growth opportunities.
- Support dispute resolution by working with relevant teams to address high-profile client concerns, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Your first year with us
Within three months, you will:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Preferred by Nature’s mission, services, sales structure, and regional contexts.
- Review current sales processes, performance metrics, and client engagement workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Review current client care process across our organization, client recognition, satisfaction survey, Key account management to identify areas for improvement.
- Propose a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to each region, aligning with Preferred by Nature’s services and objectives, including sales team.
Within six months, you will:
- Implement the sale process that you have developed for each of the Preferred by Nature Region.
- Conduct initial sales training to ensure staff effectively engage clients, respond in a timely manner, and identify cross-sales opportunities.
- Implement the Key Account Management system to enhance long-term client relationships.
- Establish and track sales and client satisfaction key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Strengthen collaboration with internal teams to align sales efforts with service capacity and market needs.
Within one year, you will:
- Ensure we do have an efficient and adapted sales structure in place with skills and motivated team in place
- Ensure the sales team meets or exceeds revenue goals through a structured and data-driven approach.
- Foster a client-centric, results-driven sales and client care environment through continuous training and motivation.
Important that you:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Have minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales leadership and client relationship management, ideally in sustainability, certification, or environmental services sectors across different cultural or regional contexts.
- Possess strong strategic planning, sales, and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Are a strong leader and communicator, capable of motivating teams and engaging stakeholders across global markets.
- Are aware of cultural differences and able to work in complex and different cultural work environments
- Have experience with CRM software and sales performance tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Are adaptable, innovative, and skilled in conflict resolution to navigate complex client interactions effectively.
- Excellent verbal communication and written in English
Would also be great, but not necessary, if you:
- Have experience designing and implementing client retention and recognition programs.
- Have expertise in sales process automation and data analytics to optimize performance.
- Have knowledge of sustainability, certification, or environmental services industries.
