To support our growth, we are seeking a US Sales Director, Health Care Practitioner (HCP) to join our growing U.S team. The Sales Director reports to the CEO and will work closely with the wider Executive Team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales, marketing, education and launch strategy to grow the company’s presence and revenue initially within the HCP market. This leader will establish strong relationships with practitioners, identify opportunities to expand the brand’s reach, and drive initiatives that align with the company’s overall growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Work with the CEO on a detailed launch plan for the dietary supplement and dermatology arms of the US HCP Market

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a scalable, data-driven sales strategy to effectively penetrate and grow the HCP market.

  • Revenue Growth: Set ambitious revenue targets and ensure alignment with overall company goals, monitoring progress regularly to achieve or exceed objectives.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Pipeline Development: Build a robust sales pipeline to expand our footprint within practitioner networks.

  • Market Penetration: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand practitioner partnerships and our reach within the HCP channel.

  • Product Adoption: Lead initiatives to increase product adoption in diverse healthcare settings, including clinics and private practices.

Relationship Building and Management

  • Partnership Development: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with healthcare practitioners, clinics, and associated stakeholders.

  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, gathering actionable feedback to improve products and services.

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing needs and driving loyalty through personalized engagement.

Operational Excellence

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage CRM systems and analytics tools to track sales performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies.

  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, forecast sales, and ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with brand, growth, and product teams to align sales strategies with company initiatives and goals.

  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

Team Leadership

  • Objective Setting: Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans for team members, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.

  • Training: Provide ongoing training and mentorship to enhance team capabilities and ensure best practices are consistently applied.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 7+ years of senior sales experience and leadership, with at least 5 years in HCP and / or retail channels within the supplement industry.

  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a demonstrated ability to grow new business channels.

  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including HCP sales strategies and customer dynamics.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance specific to sales activities.

  • Preferred Experience: Direct-to-practitioner sales, knowledge of supplements or related health products, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Amazon.
