Job description

Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! Our outstanding people are our most important asset and will allow us to deliver hydrogen from renewable electrolysis for heavy industry, at prices below fossil fuels. 

Electric Hydrogen is searching for a Demand Marketer to join our marketing team. This role will focus on creating effective first touch points with existing and new customer prospects via both physical and digital channels. The Demand Marketer will be responsible for all aspects of event marketing, from curating our physical presence at the industry’s largest conferences, producing webinars, to coordinating executive panels. For digital, this role will develop and implement a B2B digital marketing strategy that accelerates customer opportunities, drives awareness and creates long-term solutions across channels such as social media, web and search.

You will report to our Product Marketing Manager. You will be remotely based in Europe, and requires travel for conferences.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop event strategy and goals in collaboration with the Head of Business Development to guide lead generation and influence opportunities through onsite activations and support of the sales team

  • Manage end-to-end event planning and coordination, including creative and content creation, all internal and external logistical coordination (i.e., budgeting, scheduling, speaker prep, meeting support, large-scale booth production), fee negotiations, vendor management and internal team briefings

  • Enhance Electric Hydrogen’s presence at physical events by researching opportunities for optimizing in-person touch points with prospects, customers and main industry partners

  • Planning and coordination of workshops and seminars held in the EU region to inform customers/policymakers/media and other ecosystem influencers on our unique value proposition

  • Scale Electric Hydrogen’s digital marketing strategy through using company owned channels, and paid channels. This includes ownership, management and measurement of digital campaigns across social, web and search.

  • Manage campaign-specific marketing reporting to share with executives

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience working in B2B manufacturing and/or the energy transition

  • Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions) , PowerPoint, Google Analytics, Google Search, Linkedin, WordPress and CRM platforms such as Salesforce

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B events and/or digital marketing

  • Requires travel to on-site events across Europe

  • Experience in accomplishing industry-leading events and/or digital campaigns; prefer experience in the energy/climate/sustainability space

  • Customer-minded and passionate about reaching and speaking to customers

  • Excited about clean energy and deep decarbonization

  • Coordinate complex projects across multiple time zones and available to work a flexible time schedule to enable fluid communications between Europe and the USA

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
