Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative User Experience Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of user behavior, needs, and motivations, and experience using customer interviews, surveys, usability testing, and other feedback methods to gather key insights. Their research and strategic recommendations will shape Itential’s product design and measure our ability to meet customer needs. This role demands a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for creating intuitive and engaging interfaces, and excellent collaboration skills with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform project planning and execution. 
  • Analyze Data: Analyze research findings to identify key insights and develop actionable recommendations for enhancing product features and functionality. 
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle. 
  • Create Research Reports: Craft comprehensive reports, detailed user personas, insightful journey maps, and compelling presentations to effectively communicate key findings to stakeholders. 
  • Advocate for Users: Prioritize a user-centered design approach throughout the organization, placing user needs and feedback at the forefront of all design decisions.
  • Facilitate Workshops: Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather input from stakeholders and users. 
  • Develop Research Plans: Develop and maintain comprehensive research plans, including detailed timelines and budgets, to guarantee project completion within established deadlines. 
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform competitive product analysis and provide valuable insights into prevailing market trends and potential innovation opportunities. 
  • Stay Updated: Stay current on the latest UX research methodologies, tools, and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement in research practices.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in UX research or a similar role. 
  • Proficiency in various research methods and tools, such as usability testing, A/B testing, surveys, and user interviews. 
  • A strong portfolio highlighting a detailed research process that leads to improved product UX and positive business outcomes. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with outstanding communication and presentation skills. Adept at working both independently and as a contributing member of a collaborative team.
