We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Pricing Manager to join our dynamic payments pricing team. The Pricing Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing pricing strategies for our payments business, managing a team of 1-3 pricing analysts to carry out detailed analytics and reporting tasks. This role will also oversee strategic payments projects and manage the deals desk process for exception-based payments sales deals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with experience in payments pricing and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Pricing - Payments to develop, refine, and execute pricing strategies for payments products.

  • Oversee strategic initiatives such as Payments Price Increase Planning and Payments Hardware Pricing, ensuring effective execution and alignment with business objectives.

  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform pricing decisions and adjustments.

  • Manage the deals desk process, reviewing and approving exception-based pricing requests for payments sales deals. Ensure alignment between sales, finance, and pricing teams when handling deal exceptions, ensuring that pricing actions support long-term profitability.

  • Develop and maintain a framework for handling custom pricing requests, ensuring compliance with internal policies.

  • Manage the development of regular reports and pricing dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior management. Ensure the accuracy of data analysis and that insights are applied effectively to support business growth and margin improvement.

  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional payments pricing projects, working closely with finance, product, and sales teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage a team of pricing analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback on performance.

  • Oversee the allocation of tasks to pricing analysts, ensuring that pricing projects and reporting requests are executed efficiently.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team, emphasizing continuous learning and development.

  • Continuously seek improvements in pricing workflows, analysis, and reporting processes to increase team efficiency.

  • Ensure that pricing analysts are well-equipped with the necessary tools, training, and knowledge to perform at their best.

  • Implement best practices in pricing data management and reporting, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely outputs from the team.

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing, with a focus on payments processing or software related businesses.

  • Strong experience with pricing analytics, data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot table analysis, dynamic array formulas, and power queries.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Excellent team player.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
