Exasol is seeking Director of Partner Management who will build and promote the Exasol company position as a leader in the data and analytics market, specifically through the SI, Service Provider & VAR community in the territory.  You will expand sales with partners by building business plans including MDF strategy, account penetration strategy and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key Exasol partners, such as SI’s, Consultancies, Service Providers & Resellers.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing key cloud alliances with AWS, including regional cloud strategy and go-to-market plan, sales team alignment, supporting channel organizations and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and drive the execution of revenue driving programs and initiatives, as well as capacity growth and customer success.
  • Provide ongoing sales training and orchestrate delivery of technical training to partners
  • Build marketing plans to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenues.
  • Partner with Exasol marketing and engineering teams to drive revenue growth within region.
  • Provide geographic channel coverage for the region.
  • Carry quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Keep Partners updated on sales resources, changes and new developments.
  • Manage partner pipelines and work with the sales team to ensure partner sales execution against leads.
  • Manage and grow a team of 2 partner managers demonstrating our values on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of sales experience in direct and channel sales, as both an individual contributor and manager, with strong understanding of the analytics and data warehousing market.
  • 3+ years of channel management experience.
  • Recruit and lead high caliber internal Channel Partner Manager team with building lasting relationships, developing joint innovations, and executing partner focused channel marketing initiatives to drive revenue and deliver exceptional service leveraging our partners.
  • Mentor and drive culture of proactive leadership, accountability, creativity and service.
  • Develop a sales process and culture focused on customer success, driving lasting relationships with customers.
  • Experience building business and go-to-market plans with partners, specifically with AWS.
  • Must have experience in delivering sales trainings, and experience in working in a fast-paced environment with revenue responsibilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; articulate, concise, compelling and diplomatic.
  • Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Competitive, self-starter with a hunger mentality.
  • Location: Germany (open to UK-based applicants)
