Job description

 

We are seeking an experienced Marketing leader to oversee AMETEK’s Process & Analytical Division’s Global Marketing Team. You will develop, implement, monitor and drive global commercial and digital marketing strategies to enhance the division’s growth.  The successful candidate will be highly strategic, maintain an executive presence, and will play a significant role in the marketing strategy for the Process & Analytical Division. This position reports to the Vice President/General Manager of the Process & Analytical Instruments Division.

Vice President (VP) of Marketing Responsibilities are:

  • Provide Vice President/General Manager and Business Unit Managers with marketing strategy, metrics and regular updates to guide and improve the business.  Serve as the division’s highest level marketing expert.
  • Provide comprehensive and strategic marketing leadership oversight for the division’s marketing team across several time zones, managing both digital marketing teams and commercial marketing leaders within the business.
  • Improve upon the division’s marketing strategy at both the division level and the Business Unit level and apply consistency in approach where practical.
  • Use creative marketing strategies to build relationships with stakeholders.  Provide real-time data tracking and analytics to allow for more targeted and personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze existing marketing team, hiring needs and markets to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conceptualize٫ guide٫ and direct teams to support marketing events that lead to a return on investment for the company.
  • Track activities of competitors and look for opportunities to gain market share within each Business Unit.
  • Increase brand awareness for each Business Unit through development and implementation of a cohesive marketing plan.

 

Vice President (VP) of Marketing qualifications are:

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role such as Senior Marketing Director٫ VP of Marketing٫ or similar role.
  • Strategic thinker who has experience running large, global marketing teams in multiple countries.
  • Experience working with and managing team members in low-cost regions of the world.
  • Excellent leadership٫ communication٫ analytical٫ and project management skills.
  • Great decision-making and critical thinking skills.
  • B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business Administration or technical (STEM degree) with a marketing background.  MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience leading a shared services marketing team would be a plus.
  • Ability to understand complex and technical products and customer solutions is a must.
