Position: Bookkeeper
Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: SGT
Tasks:
Record and manage payments for business transactions.
Send Statements of Account (SOA) to customers at the beginning of each month.
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks.
Monitor and track accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and documents.
Stay up-to-date with Singaporean accounting laws and regulations.
Provide support for tax filings and compliance related to Singapore's regulations.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or any relevant role is required
Working experience in accounting software is a must
Strong understanding of Singapore's accounting laws and regulations.
Proficiency in QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial management.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations.
Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP (GSuite, Zoom, Slack, Trello, etc.)
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized, and able to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks
