The Accounting Specialist is the gatekeeper for the financial health of the company and partners with the business to ensure the financial results are analyzed, the opportunities and risks are identified, and solutions are developed to support the continuous improvement of business results.

This is an early to mid-career role for a finance professional with strong ambition to grow and a desire to contribute to a global team through learning and collaboration.

Primary Responsibility:

 

·       Manage the outsourced accounting and tax activities for the legal entities to ensure consistency of the financial statements, management reports, systems, and controls.

·       Prepare revenue recognition, cost reviews and adjustments in compliance with IFRS accounting practices.

·       Oversee the month-end reconciliations, the cash collection

·       Lead the month, quarter, and year-end financial close and reporting process for the legal entities.

·       Ensure the accuracy of monthly financial statements, quarterly and year-end reporting packages for all entities.

·       Improve and standardize reporting activities, in alignment with group directions and global initiatives.

·       Lead the annual audit and liaise with external auditors to monitor the overall audit process, address audit requests in a timely, efficient, and consistent manner, and ensure that any findings are adequately addressed to mitigate risk.

·       Participate in the business planning and forecasting process, support the financial projections in line with global, regional, and market performance indicators

·       Supporting the Global Controller and IFRS technical experts on special accounting developments and implementation.
