Regional Sales Manager, Northeast District (Remote)

What you will be doing: 

 

  • Accelerate growth within all regional Food Service channels/operators/distributors within assigned region.
  • Manage territory manager(s) to drive results, develop and close new business leads, & drive results across entire MegaMex portfolio of items.
  • Deliver sales growth and market dominance by strengthening MegaMex Foods penetration in all key accounts / distributors. 
  • Participate in sales calls, reviews, cuttings, program development, operator functions, trade shows, conferences, channel functions.
  • Deliver and exceed profitability targets for area.
  • Travel at least 75% of the time, subject to change based on business need
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 What you will bring to the team:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, six years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years experience in Food Service Channel of business (or equivalent training)
  • Existing knowledge and/or relationships with key operators in northeast market in Food Service industry and distributors such as PFG, Sysco, U.S. Foods, etc.
  • Sales Hunter mentality to identify and target new business opportunities, willingness to work directly with operator opportunities across a wide spectrum of segments
  • Experience managing GPO’s preferred (Aramark, Compass, Foodbuy)
  • Located in preferred marketplace (Northeast United States) with quick access to major airport(s) and the market
