The Listing, Inventory, and Price Points Services team is a newly formed team at TCGplayer. We are looking to grow our omnichannel services and provide best in class features to drive our services forward. In fact, we believe this is one of our most important strategic priorities and warrants a dedicated team focused on this mission. This team will provide best-in-class inventory and pricing management capabilities to local hobby shops and collectors across the nation and worldwide.

Who You Are
A Software Engineering Manager I at TCGplayer will lead a team of software engineers and quality engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will be responsible for developing and executing a roadmap with your Product counterparts. You are familiar with microservice based technical architectures and have experience building next-generation technical systems on a modern technology stack. You are equally passionate about building elegant technical solutions as you are about mentoring and advancing the careers of those who report to you. The Impact You Will Make Here
Grow our omnichannel services to allow our sellers to grow their business in-store with their point of sale and online through our supported sales channels.
Allow internal teams to easily access new pricing and listings on our marketplace as they are released
Create interfaces and services so that teams can manage product lines, update specific skus, and leverage reporting to enhance business efficiency
Integrate bulk uploaded and editing into the services so that operations can automatically and easily adjust as needed
What You Bring to the Team
8 years of software development experience on large-scale, high-volume, technical systems
3 years of software Engineering Management experience in backend facing team
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer science, information technology or a related field
Proven success leading, managing and hiring a team of talented engineers
Proven success providing project management artifacts in an agile environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills with engineers and non-engineers alike
Strong ability to coach engineers, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers (including managing remote engineers)
You’ll Go Beyond If You Have
Interest and experience within the hobby gaming industry
Experience with omni-channel eCommerce and transaction-based applications
Understanding of how to work effectively with microservices
