The Marketing Specialist will support the delivery of marketing programs and relationships for Ekahau’s growing list of channel and strategic alliance partners across the APAC region, along with Ookla-driven marketing initiatives. This role will work closely with our in-region sales team and collaborate with our global marketing team to deliver a cohesive message and quality programs in-region while supporting global initiatives.
The ideal candidate has experience being agile, working for companies that sell through a two-tier distribution model, and working directly with channel partners. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, negotiation and decision-making capabilities, creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with external partners and our internal teams are a must for this role.
This role will report to the EMEA Marketing Manager and will work closely with the full marketing team on the development and delivery of programs and content, as well as with our sales team members on collaborative initiatives.
Expectations for Success
Work with the EMEA Marketing Manager to deliver a partner marketing strategy for the region, including tailored initiatives for strategic channel partners
Plan and deliver marketing activities such as partner-led events, email outreach campaigns, channel partner sales team training, webinars, etc.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Support in-region partner events, industry events, webinars, and other standalone events delivered by Ookla, with some travel required for on-site event staffing or meetings.
Identify new opportunities and trends in the region and serve as the marketing liaison for Ookla in the APAC region in conversations with internal and external partners.
Coordinate with marketing operations on metrics tracking and reporting, and work within Salesforce to establish campaigns, load partner lists, and update dashboards.
Track program results and deliver ongoing reporting with support from the EMEA Marketing Manager to demonstrate investment ROI.
Coordinate with partner marketing and content teams on material for training, webinars, and channel sales campaigns.
Support ad hoc marketing initiatives as needed, such as award submissions, industry event elements, joint activities with other industry partners, engagement in industry organizations, sales enablement, content creation and/or translation, etc.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
Ability to work in a regional company office located in Kuala Lumpur
Ability to travel for occasional trade shows and team offsite events
A strong understanding of APAC regional dynamics
Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with channel and/or alliance partners
Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and strategies
Preferred Skills
Experience selling or marketing B2B technology solutions or services
Experience using Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with Google Suite programs and Asana or other project management tools
