This is a field-based role responsible for driving business growth across the South East Coast, East M4 corridor, and West London. The Business Development Manager will focus on expanding market share in the Hip, Knee, and Shoulder segments, leveraging expert knowledge of the product portfolio, competitor strategies, and market dynamics. This role includes developing and delivering technical training, fostering strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Ongoing support and mentorship will be provided by an experienced team.
The Business Development Manager will work collaboratively with regional and national business teams to proactively identify opportunities in both penetration and acquisition accounts, ensuring sustained portfolio growth. The role involves extensive customer engagement, focusing on pre-planned sales activities and strategic account management.
The position requires quarterly updates on new product implementations, business strategies, and sales forecasts to Sales Management and Marketing. In addition to driving direct sales, the Business Development Manager will provide field training for internal teams and customers, offer insights on equipment investment profitability, and collaborate with regional and UK management on forecasting and new product development. This role reports directly to the Southern Business Manager.
