Job description

We're looking to hire Sales Specialists based in the Philippines to help us better serve small nonprofit organizations who are interested in our software.


As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be connecting nonprofits to our software, helping them enhance their fundraising activities. Your day-to-day involves active engagement with nonprofit leaders, explaining the benefits of our software, and guiding them through every step of the sales process.

In this role you will:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with nonprofit professionals, educating them about the advantages of our matching gifts and fundraising solutions.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects to conducting compelling product demonstrations, and closing deals.

  • Maintain swift and efficient communication with potential clients, with an emphasis on excellent email correspondence, Zoom, and phone conversations.

  • Record and manage prospect interactions and follow-ups in our CRM.

  • Finalize agreements through effective negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving successful sales outcomes.

  • Previous sales experience is advantageous, but not mandatory. Background in customer service, marketing, or related fields that involve strong communication skills is beneficial.

Wages

  • The total hourly rate paid ends up being $10.50/hour initially. Long term it will be $7.50/hour + a commission with target earnings being over $10.50/hour.

  • Breakdown of hourly compensation (Before any fees you pay for wire transfers and currency conversions):

  • Base - $7.00 USD/Hour

  • Ramping Commission - $3 USD/hour. This will eventually be replaced with a commission structure 3-12 months into the role where the target commission would be at or above $3 USD/hour

  • Additional $.25 USD/hour as a company contribution to go towards your own health insurance costs

  • Additional $.25 USD/hour as a company contribution to go towards any additional insurance/benefits that you buy on your own

  • Target 42.5 billable hours per week

  • Additionally, you accrue Life Leave which can optionally be cashed in each year adding to your earnings (Approx. $650 per year.)

  • Our hiring process is intentionally tough and time-consuming.

  • Select candidates will be invited to complete a one-way video interview and an initial screening interview.

  • Once you passed the initial screening, a number of online assessments testing your critical thinking, and English skills will be sent.

  • Select candidates will be invited to an hour-long Zoom interview with the President of the company.

  • Individuals who graduate with a major that could be a good fit including Communications, Business Ad, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Public Administration, or other Liberal Arts degrees.

Benefits
Paid vacation time
  • 20 days accrued annually

  • These paid days off each equate to 8.0 hours of billable time.

  • Expect to use 5 of the days during the Christmas – New Year’s period.

Paid sick time

  • 5 sick days off annually

Paid life leave*

  • 15 days accrued annually.

  • Once per year in December, you can cash out any accrued life leave time. Every 5 days your cash out is worth about $220.

*Life Leave allows team members to use their holidays as it’s meant to be – a break – whilst knowing they’ve got the breathing space to tap into extra leave for the planned and unplanned life moments.

Salary: Ranges from 80,000-120,000 PHP/month depending on experience, background, USD conversion rate, and hours.
