Security Solutions Architect

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the sales team in solution design, proposal development and project kick off documentation
• Responsible for Pre & Post Engineering effort along with required documentation for project execution and permitting process.
• Responsible, when required, to perform customer site meetings for technical surveys, opportunity discovery, solution design, proposal review and project kick-off meetings
• Responsible, when required, to assist project management, technical support & sub-contractors on technical issues as they impact a current customer or project
• Assist in the management/administration of our Sales Tools (System Surveyor, WeSuite & Managely)
• Maintain current knowledge of the industry trends, manufacturers products, government life safety regulations
• Ensuring solution stated in the Statement of Work are best practices and in line with client and company requirements
• Assist with the technical bid process in responses to RFI’s & RFP
• Perform other duties as instructed by immediate supervisor and company leadership

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with an engineering/IT focus.
• 5+ years of related experience
• Defining functional requirements for technology solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills for internal and external audiences, to articulate the solution design, scope of work, specification compliance, request for information and proposal.
• Ability to multitask at various levels of detail and multiple projects,
• Ability to utilize the entire suite of Microsoft Office products, Auto Cad, Bluebeam, System Surveyor, ERP Software.
• Maintain manufacturer-based training / certification on the technology portfolio
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner to include: written and verbal communication, personal appearance and demeanor (internal and external)
• Minimum of 40 hours per week, during normal working hours
• Able to travel as required after approval

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Proposal Design and Development Time – Resource Dependent
• Minor projects (< $100K) 5 business days or less
• Major projects(>$100K) 10 business days or less
• Increase sales booking/closing rate from previous year >10%. Booking/closing rate as defined as Sold Revenue vs Quoted Revenue.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to increase Gross Margin Profits >1% for awarded projects
• Overall Revenue Attainment of Budget – Annual Sales Target
