A Day in the Life of the JAVA Developer:
As a Java Developer at TOMIA you will be focusing on the development of new features and products. You will be working in SCRUM, so your day will typically start with a stand-up meeting to align priorities and progress. Afterwards, you will be writing code to implement new functionalities and features. Collaboration is key, so you will be in close contact with different teams around the globe.
So, how are we going to keep you busy:
• Develop and maintain services within area of telecommunication, server side, in cutting edge technologies like Java11, Spring, Redis, Elastics Search, AMQ, ZMQ
• Work in an agile way, with scrum and TDD.
• Be a part of an expert's team that will enable you to independently develop, test and debug software architecture
What will make you eligible for this role:
• Degree in computer science from a recognized university
• 2-3 years of experience with Java server development
• Very strong Java fundamentals and object oriented design knowledge
• Oracle DB development experience – SQL and PLSQL
• Design of major applications in Java/J2EE
• Experience in Multi-threading, Spring framework, Linux platforms – advantage
• Knowledge and experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting – advantage
