Job description

We are seeking a proactive HR Specialist to join our partner’s dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the future of the workforce, manage recruitment, performance reviews, and employee engagement while ensuring legal compliance and aligning HR policies with organizational goals. You’ll also handle budgeting, international hiring, public funding coordination, and collaborate with external partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce HR policies to ensure legal compliance and align with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, from job postings to hiring, ensuring timely staffing.
  • Manage performance reviews, tracking employee progress and development.
  • Analyze employee satisfaction and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure job descriptions, organizational charts, and salary data are up to date.
  • Monitor budgets by department and optimize resource allocation.
  • Create and implement PR strategies to engage with potential candidates and promote company growth on social media.
  • Oversee and streamline international hiring processes to attract global talent.
  • Leading the coordination of processes with local and international bodies (HORIZON Europe, EUREKA and TÜBİTAK).
  • Monitor and manage public funding opportunities, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
  • Monitor and coordinate accounting activities with the external partner, ensuring accurate financial records, budget compliance, and timely reporting for HR and financial planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature, American Literature, Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on recruitment, budget tracking, and employee relations.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with strong editing and proofreading skills. Proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Experience with international hiring and cross-border HR management is essential.
  • Familiarity with public funding programs such as HORIZON Europe, EUREKA, and TÜBİTAK.
  • Proven track record in budget management and resource allocation across departments.
  • Ability to monitor and coordinate accounting activities in collaboration with external accounting partners, ensuring budget compliance and timely reporting.
  • Expertise in employer branding and creating engaging PR strategies to attract talent via social media and other platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media recruiting and creating digital campaigns to engage candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
