This is an opportunity to join Adaptive as the second Product Designer, playing a crucial role in crafting user-centered experiences that redefine the built environment. With a focus on design excellence, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated product team, including a product manager, staff engineer, and a team of skilled engineers to deliver intuitive and engaging solutions. In this role, own the end-to-end design process for a dedicated product area, contributing hands-on design work while also helping to shape the growing design discipline at Adaptive.
Rely on user-centered design to create a product that will reshape the built environment, working directly with the founders from concept to execution
Collaborate directly with our team of engineers and product managers to translate product requirements into intuitive solutions
Advocate for product designs, improvements, and workflows based on your granular understanding of our customers and their needs
Rough time split: 50% design production work, 30% user research, 20% growing the design discipline at Adaptive
5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or fintech product design
Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, product managers, and customer success
Demonstrated ability to discover design requirements unique to your customer base
Ability to lead and ideate software products and features from scratch
Comfortable working in an unstructured, dynamic environment
