VC Associate

Global Venture Capital Firm, MENA

We are seeking a dynamic Venture Capital Associate focusing on early-stage investment opportunities in the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan, or Bangladesh regions.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for the venture capital industry and a keen eye for identifying high-potential tech startups within the specified regions.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities in early-stage startups.
Perform thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive landscape assessment.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment proposals and memos to the investment committee.
Actively participate in deal structuring and negotiation processes.
Provide post-investment support and strategic guidance to portfolio companies.
Build and maintain robust relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and industry experts.
Contribute to the overall strategy and growth of the venture capital fund.

Requirements:

Bachelor or Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a related field; CFA is a plus
2+ years of relevant local work experience within Venture Capital (early-stage) in the Middle East / Africa / Pakistan / Bangladesh
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial analysis and valuation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
