Job description

Job Overview: 

The roles requires the incumbent to expertly convert prospects and booked appointments for our business development officers to provide more detailed information on OC products and services and close the sale. The person will be the first point of contact for prospects within OC. The calls will be supported by a social media and EDM campaign.

Job Description: 

  • Lead Qualification: Manage and qualify outbound leads, focusing on identifying high-potential prospects and scheduling appointments for the sales team.
  • Value Proposition: Clearly communicate the value and benefits of our offerings, engaging prospects and sparking their interest in further discussions.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Consistently meet or exceed individual targets for scheduled appointments, showcasing a relentless drive for results.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong initial relationships with prospects, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
  • Market Intelligence: where possible the incumbent will build skills to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback, using this insight to refine lead engagement strategies.
  • Sales Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the Apprenticeship/Traineeship sales and marketing teams to enhance lead generation and appointment-setting techniques, contributing to the overall success of the programs.
  • Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional growth and development in lead qualification techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends, aiming to continuously improve performance and effectiveness.




Requirements

  • Proven success in high-ticket sales environments.
  • Specific experience with an Australian based RTO in the trades apprenticeship sector would be preferred, but not required
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent phone skills.
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience with cold calling
  • Strong grasp of sales principles and a commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales management tools, such as HubSpot.
  • Resilience when making outbound calls to cold and warm leads.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and not take knock backs personally.
  • Self-starter that can self-motivate when working autonomously.
