Associate Principal Engineer, ERP Dynamics Functional

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience of 11+ years.
• Strong working experience in developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise-wide applications using Dynamics NAV and Dynamics Business Central.
• Experience with at least 3 full project life-cycle implementations as Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
• Good knowledge of business processes and strong analytical skills to turn requirements into proposed configuration of Dynamics NAV and Dynamics Business Central.
• Good technical knowledge of Dynamics NAV and Dynamics Business Central, including system setup, data migration, and development.
• Ensure that the latest functional features of Dynamics NAV and Dynamics Business Central are fully utilized whenever possible to achieve the best implementation for the given client.
• Experience working in an environment with multiple business units, running multiple ERP systems, and consolidating down to a single environment.
• Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams, as well as 3rd party implementation partners.
• Global implementation experience.
• Ability to work effectively and manage partnerships with all areas and members of the business, as well as all levels of the organization. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Experience in mentoring team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
