Job Summary:
EDI Analyst will maintain and support electronic data interchange (EDI) systems for our customers and vendors. In this role, you will be working under a lead analyst to support current integrations and EDI projects as needed. You may also be required to periodically update and maintain EDI systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibities (any combination of the following job duties):
The core responsibility of an EDI analyst is to understand the needs of the business and create or modify integrations that fulfill those requirements.
Analyze and define EDI requirements and business needs of customers and vendors, often for needs or situations that are custom and non-standard.
Refers to mapping documents to troubleshoot and support existing EDI integrations.
Works full time in a flexible office environment, often interacting with other departments, customers, vendors, or project team members.
Maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the organization to understand their business modules and must be able to work with the systems analysts to understand the necessary requirements to deliver and promote technical solutions as the business evolves
Collaborates with other IT staff to develop and test new or modified systems.
Gathers user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of the system, along with adjusting and customizing based on user feedback.
Periodically reviews system and identifies possible modifications.

Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
At least three years of experience in an EDI service center required.
Experience in defining the steps to perform a change, managing expectations, tracking status, and communicating to all constituents. Conceptual knowledge of IT infrastructure and supporting application across the company.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff, both written and verbally.
Knowledgeable about technical concepts, pricnciple and apply project management methodolgies to support the business expectations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Organizational skills and attention to detail, learning and adapting to business needs.
Working knowledge of EDI formats and understanding of basic EDI functions.
Creative problem-solving required to meet customer/vendor needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
