Position Title: UiPath Automation Developer
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Washington, DC and Springfield, VA
Position Overview:
Marathon TS is seeking an experienced UiPath Automation Developer who can support our growing AI, Client and Automation business. We are looking for someone in the greater Washington, DC area to play a lead role in 1) developing solutions, and 2) providing consulting services to our clients. This opportunity is specific to our Department of Homeland Security (Client), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) client. The TSA office seeks to expand its use of AI, machine learning, and automation technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, speed up contracting processes, and redeploy personnel from repetitive tasks to more value-added activities. The UiPath Automation Developer would implement processes ideal for automation, with an emphasis on reducing repetitive tasks, increasing accuracy, and speeding up procurement processes.
Marathon TS is seeking candidates with a mix of technical and business experience in mission-oriented environments. We are especially looking for candidates that have worked in Client and have an active EOD/Client clearance.
This role will be responsible for supporting a wide range of project activities spanning business and technology environments.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
· Support discovery and engineering of technical requirements working in close collaboration with the product owner and business users
· Work closely with the Software Architect, Business Analyst, Developers and other technical team members, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts in developing solutions on the UiPath platform.
· Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams
· Analyze business problems, design technology solutions to these problems and manage the solution through the full life cycle
· Ability to Design & Develop UiPath solutions and create reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
· Ability to Participate in process re-engineering efforts, Partner with team do peer code reviews
· Works in collaboration with projects teams to develop, test, Integrate, implement, and support solutions using RPA platforms
· Responsible for ensuring an efficient integration of programming deliverables, timely builds, and overall code quality
· Partner with Intelligent Process Automation architecture team to Learn and Implement best practices
· Be knowledgeable and able to execute in agile development environment
· Responsible for executing business projects to automate new or existing processes using RPA tool UiPath
· Experience with C# .net programming experience for building libraries, methods, modules, and Custom Activities
· Experience with databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Work independently or under general supervision.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
· Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Business, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or other related discipline from an accredited college, university, or academic institution in the United States.
· 5+ years' of direct experience implementing UiPath solutions.
· 8+ years' of experience with the execution and management of large-scale Information Technology (IT) Projects.
· 8+ years' experience in object-oriented programming (C#, C++, VB, Java, or Python preferred)
· Experience with databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
· Existing and active Client EOD/clearance (TSA preferred).
Additional preferred qualifications:
· UiPath RPA Developer Advanced Certification is a strongly preferred
· Previous experience working with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and OpenSpan
· Familiar with Microsoft Azure or AWS services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Lambda Functions, Step Functions)
Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and will be required to pass a government background investigation.
