General Purpose: The Leave of Absence Manager oversees the company's leave and accommodation programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role manages Leave of Absence Specialist(s) and Coordinator(s) and collaborates with PACS Payroll and HR Teams to assist employees with leave preparation, ADA accommodations, and Workers' Compensation leaves.

Essential Duties 

Conduct Site Surveys & Acquisition Integration 

  • Perform Detailed Site Assessments: Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess IT infrastructure needs, including network setup, workstations, phone systems (PBX/POTS lines/VOIP), overhead paging, and nurse call systems. Ensure results are thoroughly documented. 

  • Lead Infrastructure Integration: Oversee the deployment of key IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring smooth onboarding and operational functionality that meets the needs of skilled nursing facilities. 

  • Collaborate with Facility Staff: Work closely with on-site healthcare professionals and administrators to understand technology requirements and integrate solutions that support efficient workflows. 

Optimize Facility Communication & Support Systems 

  • Deploy & Troubleshoot Communication Systems: Ensure phone systems, overhead paging, and nurse call systems are fully operational and tailored to facility needs, enhancing internal communication and resident support. 

  • Active Directory/Entra & Network Configuration: Configure Active Directory/Entra and network systems to enable secure, reliable connectivity across facility locations. 

  • On-Site Troubleshooting & Support: Address day-to-day technical issues at facilities when not on acquisition projects, handling hardware, software, and network troubleshooting for minimal downtime. 

Provide Post-Acquisition Documentation & Training 

  • Create Comprehensive Documentation: Document system configurations, network setups, and troubleshooting procedures, ensuring local teams have resources for long-term maintenance. 

  • Conduct Training Sessions: Train facility staff to use and manage new systems effectively, empowering them to maintain infrastructure post-onboarding and reduce dependency on external support. 

  

Qualifications 

Education and/or Experience 

  • Microsoft Endpoint Management: Expertise in Microsoft Intune and AutoPilot for device setup, deployment, and ongoing management, with a focus on remote management and zero-touch provisioning. 

  • Network & Systems Configuration: Strong experience with Active Directory/Entra, network equipment setup and troubleshooting, particularly in environments requiring secure, multi-site support. 

  • Remote Support Solutions: Familiarity with remote management tools, including Intune, AutoPilot, & ConnectWise RMM to facilitate seamless device configuration and support. 

  • Desktop & User Support: Solid background in desktop support and user assistance, especially in healthcare or other high-compliance environments. 

  • Telecommunication Systems: Knowledge of phone systems (PBX/POTS lines/VOIP), overhead paging, and nurse call systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to support facility needs. 

Language Skills 

Capable of effective communication in both written and spoken form, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Can understand and participate in discussions on relevant topics and comprehend standard business correspondence and documentation. 

Mathematical Skills 

Familiarity with basic mathematical concepts and operations. Able to perform simple calculations and apply elementary mathematical principles as required for technology and network setup tasks. 

Reasoning Ability 

Skilled in logical reasoning and analytical thinking. Capable of evaluating information, identifying relationships, and drawing logical conclusions. Able to solve moderately complex problems independently and effectively communicate the reasoning process, especially when troubleshooting on-site issues.

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to spend prolonged periods standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting.
