Position Summary:
The Senior Energy Management System (EMS) Engineer will provide Energy/Generation Management System support for the growing and increasingly complex TPS EMS/SCADA system. This person will have solid and varied experience with OSII Applications and subsystem products operating on the Windows Server platform. Additionally, this seasoned engineer will have expert level experience with the underlying database structures, configurations, software release installations, and systems design for maintaining reliable and robust operation. Preferably, this senior engineer will have experience with supporting the GMS and other systems line of products such as SCADA, OpenAGC, OpenECA, MOSNET, OpenCalc, OpenFEP, and Viewpoint. Experience with a multi-site redundant architecture is also preferred. Lastly, experience with EMS/SCADA support systems project coordination, planning, implementation, and development of and adherence to change management processes is essential in this role.

The job will require sitting in an indoor office or remote working environment, the need to visually read various written materials including, but not limited to paper documents and computer monitors. The job may also require standing, bending, walking, lifting up to 10 lbs., carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, crouching, driving, and airline travel. The incumbent will have the ability to use standard office equipment such as PC, printer, telephone, calculator, and copy and fax machines. Travel required to meetings in other office buildings, including local and domestic.
