Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing media buying strategies that align with our overall marketing goals. You will work closely with the marketing team to optimize ad campaigns across various channels, ensuring maximum reach and effectiveness. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to define and execute media buying strategies that support campaign objectives.
  • Analyze target audience insights and market trends to identify the best media channels for reaching potential customers.
  • Plan, negotiate, and purchase advertising space across multiple platforms, including digital.
  • Integrate bid cap strategies to scale campaigns effectively while maintaining a solid customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Monitor and optimize ongoing campaigns, adjusting strategies based on performance data to improve ROI.
  • Embrace dynamic scaling using bid caps for high-traffic days (e.g., weekends), while minimizing risk during lower-traffic periods.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of media buys, utilizing analytics tools to measure performance metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, showcasing campaign performance and insights.
  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring that spending aligns with financial goals and maximizes return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate favorable terms with media vendors.
  • Ensure close collaboration with creative strategists to push data-driven creative experimentation and optimize based on ad performance, leveraging creative testing insights to guide budget allocation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media vendors and agencies to stay updated on industry trends and opportunities.
  • Highlight the importance of direct response optimization for all campaigns, ensuring a laser focus on conversion-driven performance while keeping clarity in mind throughout the funnel.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of media buying principles and practices across various channels.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager) to track campaign performance.
  • Experience in digital media buying, including social media and programmatic advertising.
  • Familiarity with SEO and SEM strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience working with media vendors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
