The Microsoft Licensing Executive will act as a customer-facing subject matter expert in licensing solutions within the Microsoft discipline. The individual will provide essential support for SHI's account executives and our customers, working closely with the SHI team to help SHI’s customer s understand their ongoing licensing and operational needs for their Microsoft environment. This will be achieved through various presentation and communication models throughout the customer relationship lifecycle .
The Microsoft Licensing Executive will report to the Manager – Microsoft Licensing and can be based in Milton Keynes, Barnsley U.K. offices.

Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
Engage in customer correspondence regarding Microsoft products and their licensing, effectively communicating the benefits of Microsoft’s Online Services, and participate in customer calls to prepare pricing .
Advance and oversee sales opportunities in collaboration with SHI Account Managers, supporting them through all sales process stages until completion.
Act as a representative for SHI at relevant company and industry events as necessary.
Contribute to SHI.com by authoring blog posts on Microsoft’s latest offerings, and by organizing and hosting customer-centric events and webinars.
Provide support in sales messaging during customer meetings and calls, and assist in creating financial models, proposals, and customer-facing proposals.
Support enrolment activities for on-time renewals and true-ups.
Interpret Microsoft volume license contracts for customers and prospects.
Educate customers and sales teams on Microsoft programs and best practices.
Stay up to date on relevant Microsoft certifications and technologies.
Develop and implement both company-wide and client-facing training webinars geared toward the latest changes in Microsoft licensing, products, and programs .
Proactive approach to supporting team members, sellers, and customers .
Be able to articulate SHI’s value add for Microsoft and remove oneself from the day-to-day licensing questions .
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft solutions and volume licensing programs
Minimum 3-5 years providing direct support for Microsoft Volume Licensing sales and support lifecycle
Experience serving as a Subject Matter expert in a product or service

Certifications Required
The Microsoft Licensing Executive will hold at least two of the following accreditations; if they are not currently held, they will be required to self-study and pass the following accreditations within six months of starting the role.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900)
Microsoft Azure Certified: Fundamentals (AZ-900)
Microsoft AI Certified: Fundamentals (AI-900)
Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Certified: Fundamentals (SC-900)
Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals: Certified (PL900)
Unique Requirements
Position may require travel for customer meetings and events as required both nationally and internationally.
Additional Information
Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
