Job description

Anrok is pioneering the way in addressing a crucial challenge for businesses worldwide: navigating the complex realm of sales tax and VAT. As tax regulations continue to change and become more intricate, companies require a dependable and automated solution to manage risk and ensure global compliance doesn’t become a drag on their revenue. Anrok’s cutting-edge platform seamlessly integrates with various billing and payment systems, streamlining sales tax monitoring, registration, reconciliation, and filing across multiple jurisdictions.

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to design and build a new data products pillar a key extension of the platform. This is an opportunity to lead a new initiative within a fast-growing company, and make decisions on product direction and team building, as well as engage directly with existing customers that are asking for these features today.

In this role, you will:

  • Architect, build, and scale data pipelines to allow customers to connect Anrok financial data into data warehouses such as Snowflake and BigQuery.

  • Interface directly with customers to design primitives that account for the current and future needs of users, including transforming transactional data and version control to provide first-party ETL from Anrok.

  • Establish the infrastructure foundation to enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Help customers ingest and reconcile data across invoicing, payment, and bank accounts by building traditional and LLM-powered reconciliation features.

For employees based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we follow a hybrid model. Where we come into the office 3 days a week to collaborate in person. For employees located outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, you will work remotely full-time
