Job description

Our client, a leading company in the semiconductor industry, seeks a talented Engineering Leader to oversee their Advanced Semiconductor Design Team. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and delivering cutting-edge packaging solutions for their clients' complex manufacturing equipment.

Lead and Inspire:

Foster a culture of excellence by guiding and mentoring engineers of various levels.
Serve as the primary customer contact for advanced semiconductor design programs.

Technical Expertise and Innovation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable design requirements.
Leverage your deep mechanical engineering knowledge to develop innovative and technically superior packaging solutions.
Ensure designs meet stringent technical specifications, adhere to cleanroom standards, and incorporate best practices in material selection, protection, handling, transportation, manufacturability, and safety.

Communication and Documentation:

Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications following industry standards (ASME Y14.5-2018 & ISO 1101-2017) and GD&T principles.
Oversee and review drafting tasks within your team.
Prepare comprehensive documentation packages, including design rationale, materials selection, quality standards, and cleanroom compliance.
Maintain meticulous records of design iterations and changes.
Communicate and present effectively during design reviews to ensure clear understanding and alignment across all project stakeholders.
Oversee and review documentation and presentation deliverables within your team. (Implementation and release in customer's PLM environment may be required.)

Project Management and Efficiency:

Demonstrate strong project management skills, handling multiple customer programs concurrently.
Maintain detailed records of design iterations, changes, project timelines, and budgets.
