Job description


Responsibilities:

  • Address technical issues related to our simulation software, providing first and second levels of support (L1 and L2).
  • Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their technical challenges and offer user-friendly solutions understandable to non-technical users.
  • Undertake software development tasks, such as bug fixes, technical debt management, feature enhancements, and small feature developments.
  • Contribute to establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines and release management procedures to ensure smooth and dependable software deployment.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to tackle intricate technical problems and enhance product quality and performance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support issues, resolutions, and software modifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and streamline processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance support quality and provide valuable insights to clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or a related role, with a demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and technical troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, capable of effectively writing, reading, and debugging code to resolve issues and implement software improvements.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, encompassing CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, and unit testing, to support efficient software development and deployment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric mindset, committed to delivering high-quality support and solutions to client inquiries and challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different functions and disciplines, managing multiple projects concurrently and prioritizing tasks.
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts and technologies, with a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of the blockchain industry and decentralized finance (DeFi) is advantageous but not mandatory.
