Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Operations Officer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in employee engagement, employee relations, strategic planning, collaborating with senior leaders to align initiatives with organizational goals, and overseeing continuous improvement efforts.

The role will ultimately contribute to a thriving workplace environment through innovative strategies and policy adherence. 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Process Improvements: Spot areas where the employee experience can be improved and devise plans to address them. Being process driven is important.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and managers to refine performance management processes and implement feedback mechanisms. 

  • General HR Support: Consult and console provide guidance, to managers which the HR team supports  

  • Communication: Foster transparent communication between employees, managers, and leadership, and develop strategies for internal communication. 

  • Change Support: Help employees and managers navigate organizational changes while ensuring a positive employee experience. 

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze employee feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement, using data to guide decision-making. 

  • Collaboration Across Departments: Work with HR, talent acquisition, senior leaders and other departments to align employee experience strategies & ensure a seamless employee journey.  

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and department heads. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives and adjust them as necessary to enhance employee satisfaction. 

  • Policy Compliance: Ensure that all employee experience initiatives comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. 

  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously innovate and improve the employee experience. 

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, employee relations or a related field 

  • Experience with data analysis and using insights to drive improvements in employee experience. 

  • Strong knowledge of relevant employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. 

  • Forward-thinking approach to employee experience, staying updated with trends, technologies, and best practices in the field. 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. 

  • Experience in an international or multicultural environment is a plus. 

  • Proficient in self-directed tasks and thrives in an independent work environment. 

  • Previous experience working in the financial or banking sector and international companies would be highly regarded
