Job description

About the Role

Standard Bots is seeking a People and Operations Manager to support the backbone of our growing startup through HR operations, facilities management, and administrative functions. This is an exciting opportunity to develop expertise across multiple business operations while making a tangible impact on our company culture and employee experience. 

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptive person ready to roll up their sleeves to build and execute scalable people processes and improve operational efficiencies throughout the company. This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor Visas for this role. 

In this role, you will:

HR Operations (70%)
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from offer letters through offboarding

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

  • Support payroll processing and administration of benefits programs through our PEO platform

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and company policies

  • Facilitate and ensure compliance with local, federal and state employment laws and regulations

  • Create and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and procedural documentation with an eye towards creating a best-in-class employee experience. 

Workplace Experience Management (20%)
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for company services

  • Coordinate with leadership on workspace needs and improvements

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and documentation

  • Oversee company technology systems administration (access management, security protocols, etc.)

Administrative Operations (10%)
  • Support internal events and special projects

  • Manage company-wide operational communications

  • Document and standardize key business processes

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • 3+ years of HR and/or operations experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time, hourly position with a salary range of $85,000 - $120,000, depending on experience. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All full-time employees are eligible for employee stock options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
