Applications Backend Developer - IT Applications

Our client is seeking a dedicated Applications Backend Developer to join their IT Applications team. This role is 100% remote, offering flexibility and convenience for the right candidate. We encourage all eligible candidates, including permanent residents and citizens, to apply.

As an Applications Backend Developer, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, deploying, and providing support to the Digital Channel. You will also extend the capabilities of the AEM Assets system, assist in implementing standardized processes across the organization, and contribute to backlog and sprint planning.

Key Role Deliverables:

• Owning, managing, configuring, and deploying the Digital Channel
• Extending the capabilities of the AEM Assets system
• Assisting in implementing standardized processes across the organization
• Contributing to backlog and sprint planning
• Testing and validating ad hoc support
• Providing comprehensive documentation
  
  
  

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• 3 years of experience using Adobe AEM and AEM Connector
• 5-7 years of experience developing scalable back-end solutions
• 4-year degree in Information Systems or an equivalent combination of course work and job experience
• Programming experience in Java/Golang/Scala/Python/C/C++, or similar
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience creating automated code migration/deployments
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise DevOps practices
• Experience in operational stability, technical hygiene strategies, and techniques
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Proactive in identifying and fixing issues
• Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel
