Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage U.S. tax compliance and/or foreign tax compliance, working closely with outside tax advisors and service providers.
  • Prepare the Company's annual and quarterly ASC 740 tax provision and related footnote disclosures for SEC filing including the annual effective tax rate, income tax payable reconciliation, and foreign tax provisions.
  • Design and maintain working papers and support tax reporting and compliance and internal control requests related to taxes.
  • Maintain, document and develop income tax related internal controls.
  • Actively partner with business teams and support Company initiatives and ensure that tax risks are identified, considered and communicated.
  • Identify process improvements for various tax processes, implement changes for best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze tax legislative changes and their impact on the Company.
     
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
  • 5-8 years' experience in progressive Tax environment required
  • Experience working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with various Transfer Pricing methodologies and how to apply them.
  • Understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculations.
  • Familiarity with the various types of intercompany transactions within multiple group entities, both for cost recharge and for transfer pricing purposes.
  • Understanding of the process for reconciling US GAAP, US Tax, Local GAAP, and Local Tax financial statements.
  • Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • No travel is required in this position.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
  • MST or Advanced Degree a plus
  • CPA or working towards licensure a plus
