Job description

Position Overview

The Expense Analyst has an amazing opportunity to support RGA workforce by handling the daily operations of the Travel & Expense corporate credit card products and systems. This person will provide customer service to employees and managers, and assists with expense report processing, ensuring compliance to policies through auditing, reporting and analytics. This position will collaborate and provide assistance to the Credit Card Manager to administer RGA’s global credit card program and special projects.

This is a US remote location opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily activities for RGA’s Corporate Travel & Expense credit card operations. Engages directly with cardholders, managers and other internal and external. stakeholders to assist with card applications, inquiries, problems and/or requests.
  • Trains user community on corporate T&E credit cards, reporting and policy, and answers questions regarding policy interpretation when necessary. Updates training documentation as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining credit card user configuration in the T&E system, monitoring and approving personal expenses and reimbursement and ensuring corporate T&E card transactions are processed within policy and on a timely basis.
  • Serves as backup for expense report auditors and set up of direct deposit information.
  • Assists in the reconciliation of accounts related to travel and expense, and credit cards.
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports, analyses and metrics as required to support policy compliance. Ensures compliance with corporate credit card and T&E policies.
  • Supports and provides backup to the Credit Card Manager. Assists in special projects as needed.
  • May support the maintenance and updating of the corporate credit card Sharepoint site.
  • May support the Accounts Payable Manager in various projects, including tax and unclaimed property reporting.

Requirements

Education And Experience

Required:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting/finance
  • 1+ years’ accounts payable experience

  • Intermediate Excel, Word, Powerpoint and SQL/Query skills.
  • Competent knowledge of proper internal controls and the ability to evaluate and implement change as required.
  • Competent knowledge of accounting/finance theory and application and general ledger reporting.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department/team projects.

The general pay range for this position is $48,700 -$65,790 per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles, and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
